I am Alex. I was born Feb 1, 1987. I lost a lot of my hearing due to a medication when I was around 2 years of age. I took upon ASL for one year before quitting it and learning Cued-Speech. I was mainstreamed and learned to develope near perfect speech capabilities. I was raised and surrounded by hearing family, and friends. My life has been a controversial battle between many hearing and deaf, hearing-impaired, hard-of-hearing people. I only chose to listen to one person-Myself.
